WHAT IS YOUR HOMETOWN?  Born in the Central Valley of CA, lived most my life in SoCal. 


WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME? I love boating, golfing, shooting, and training dogs


WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVEMENT AND/OR CROSSFIT WORKOUT? Push press, deadlift, power cleans, but lately I’m digging hang power cleans. 


ANY ADVICE FOR SOMEONE NEW TO HEAT WAVE CROSSFIT? Don’t be intimidated—just jump in and do what you can. It gets better fast—you just have to workout consistently. It’s a lot of fun!


WHAT BROUGHT YOU INTO CROSSFIT AND WHAT KEEPS YOU HERE?  I started xfit because I needed a better way to maintain my core strength after back surgery. I also needed something new to get results as I got older—just running and weightlifting on my own wasn’t working for me any longer. The results keep me coming back—getting stronger, faster, better than I was the week before keeps me coming back. Also, the camaraderie from others in the box.
